Computing

Computing

Led by Mrs Tudor

At John Randall Primary School and Nursery, we teach the National Curriculum, supported by a clear skills and knowledge progression set out by Knowlsey.  Our computing curriculum will enable our children to learn fundamental skills and knowledge to become confident users of technology. We aim to prepare our children to participate in a increasingly changing world in which we work. Our computing curriculum provides children with opportunities to explore, analyse, evaluate and share information effectively. Digital Literacy is a fundamental aspect within our Computing curriculum which educates our children to become responsible users of technology.

Computing is taught weekly, to enable the achievement of a deeper understanding and mastery over time. This ensures that skills and knowledge are built on year-by-year and sequenced appropriately to maximise learning for all children.
