Computing
Led by Mrs Tudor
At John Randall Primary School and Nursery, we teach the National Curriculum, supported by a clear skills and knowledge progression set out by Knowlsey. Â Our computing curriculum will enable our children to learn fundamental skills and knowledge to become confident users of technology. We aim to prepare our children to participate in a increasingly changing world in which we work. Our computing curriculum provides children with opportunities to explore, analyse, evaluate and share information effectively. Digital Literacy is a fundamental aspect within our Computing curriculum which educates our children to become responsible users of technology.Â
Computing is taught weekly, to enable the achievement of a deeper understanding and mastery over time. This ensures that skills and knowledge are built on year-by-year and sequenced appropriately to maximise learning for all children.
