At John Randall School and Nursery, we follow the National Curriculum for Art and Design, this allows all pupils to produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences. We follow the skills progression set out by the national curriculum, combined with a skills-based art curriculum, as well as links made to cross curricular topics ensuring a well-rounded approach. This offers children the opportunity to express their creativity alongside providing opportunities to develop mastery in the key processes: drawing, painting, printing, textiles and sculpture.
